There are days when I wonder if I’m crazy. I have several commitments every week both at home and away. I work full-time and I try to do things around the house. Oh yeah, and there’s that writing thing too. I currently have six short stories I want to write. The trouble is, they all need to be done in the next two months. The problem with that is I also have NaNoWriMo looming over me in November. Get Published Episode 41 – Lindsey Grant talks NaNoWriMo
I get to talk to Lindsey Grant. Lindsey is the Program Director for NaNoWriMo. She has an MFA in Creative Nonfiction from Mills College and was amazed to find the magical place that is the Office of Letters and Light. The OLL, for those of you who don’t know, is the wholly wonderful place that has conceived both NaNoWriMo and Script Frenzy. We talk about a lot of things including how NaNo started, what some of the NaNoWriMo goals are and how to “win” NaNo. In the feedback section of the show I talk about some the things that have made NaNo so enjoyable for me. Thanks for listening. Show Notes 00:00 — Opening – Get Published Episode 41 – Lindsey […]

I would like to thank you all for joining me on this journey. It has been both gruelling and extremely rewarding. The next step for the story is to move it over to Podiobooks.com. I’m also going to shelf the story for a few months before I come back and edit it into book form. If I’m lucky, it will see a paper version in the near future. One last thing. I will be making t-shirts available to celebrate GalaxyBillies completion and move to podiobooks. Watch for it in the next two […]

From television, movies, other books, going for walks and hearing the news. The commonly held belief among “Experts” is that there are no new idea. Just new ways to execute them. Whether that’s true or not I don’t know. I just know that I get these cool story ideas running through my head and I can’t wait to start writing. […]
