I didn’t get as much written this morning as I did yesterday. Yesterday I had over 600 words before I left for work. Today is was slightly over 200. I attribute part of that to the preplotting I’ve done. The beginning of the story is MUCH clearer than the stuff that comes after (yes, that includes chapter 2). The story veered away from the plotting very slightly but enough that I had to think of ways to bring it back on track. I believe I’ve done that now so it’s back to work. As you have probably heard by now, I have sold my YA novel, “Mik Murdoch, Boy Superhero” to Five Rivers Publishing (http://bit.ly/aNgS3j). I don’t think I need to tell you all how happy I am to be able to make the announcement. Truth be told, I’m still in a bit of shock. So, what’s next? Obviously, I will be editing the book prior to it being published. But what else? I will continue to write, of course, but I’m also going to be doing everything I can to be ready for the launch.
