When we conceived the idea of the Action Pack Podcast, we wanted to do a few different things. We wanted to combine three different authors with three different stories in a single podcast. We wanted the stories to each be a single story arc that lasted a year and lastly, we wanted to give our audience two ways to experience the stories: the free audio podcast; and the eVersion (ePub, Mobi and PDF) for $0.99. Leaping for Joy!
How original. I am ripping off the fact that today is February 29th, a day that only comes around every four years. Mind you, if all the end-of-the-world quacks are right, it is also the last one we will ever have so why shouldn’t I take advantage of it? But why am I so happy? Well, beyond the obvious play on words, things seem to be coming together. It has been a long slog and I now know more than ever what Pip Ballantine was talking about when she was on Get Published. If even one of us fails to have our individual story element finished, the whole thing falls down. That means we need […]

Marketing Mik Murdock, Boy Superhero when it is available is going to be something completely new. I’m really grateful this isn’t my publisher’s first rodeo. That takes some of the pressure off. I know when I ask what I can do and who I need to talk to Lorina will have answers for me. But, what should I be doing now in preparation? That’s the question that keeps me up at night. Should […]
