As you have probably heard by now, I have sold my YA novel, “Mik Murdoch, Boy Superhero” to Five Rivers Publishing (http://bit.ly/aNgS3j). I don’t think I need to tell you all how happy I am to be able to make the announcement. Truth be told, I’m still in a bit of shock. So, what’s next? Obviously, I will be editing the book prior to it being published. But what else? I will continue to write, of course, but I’m also going to be doing everything I can to be ready for the launch. As some of you know, I have been working toward a publishing contract for my books for quite some time. That time is now. I am thrilled to announce that my Young Adult book titled “Mik Murdoch, Boy Superhero” has been picked up for publication by 5 Rivers Publishing. 5 Rivers is an Indie Publishing house first established in 2008 by Lorina Stephens. There are days when I wonder if I’m crazy. I have several commitments every week both at home and away. I work full-time and I try to do things around the house. I’m sort of a late-comer to conventions. I really only did my first one four years ago. Ever since, I’ve been a convert. I definitely see the value from a network perspective and from a pure learning and having fun point-of-view too. I’ve also wanted to be more involved.
