I had a great writing night tonight. I finished the day with 2229 words to bring my NaNoWriMo total to 55,025 words. I also finished the first draft of one of my short stories which I am really happy about. Unfortunately, the night finished with a bit of a sour note. Without going into any details, I was accused (in jest or not it was still an accusation) of being anti-social because I haven’t attended any meet-ups the past two years. NaNoWriMo – Day 25
I wasn’t able to get writing as soon as I had hoped, because I had the pleasure of interviewing Jaym Gates and Erika Holt for my podcast “Get Published”. I will not be setting any personal bests for NaNoWriMo this year, but it has still been a good one for me. I’m almost finished the two short stories, I have made great progress on my NaNoNovel and my surprise project has be fantastic. I know that I’ll be very happy with the story when it’s done, but that won’t be this month. I only had two thousand words left going into this day and I hoped I would be able to do it. I really need to be finished the focus on 50,000 words so I can start trying to finish the short stories and get the necessary revisions made. Of course, I’m under the gun; both stories need […]
