I had really high hopes for the day, today. It’s Friday, of course, and I had no plans for the evening. That meant I had a great opportunity to write a HUGE amount on my NaNoNovel. Except, I had more plotting to do on it AND I had an interview with Kimi Alexandre for the next episode of Get Published. Interviews are always a problem for me. Not because I hate doing them, but because I LOVE talking to all the interesting people I get for the show. Kimi is no exception. NaNoWriMo – Day 4
Well, I actually did a 1000 words more than I reported yesterday. I’m not sure how I managed it, but I did. So, on to today. I managed about 300 words in the morning before work. Then I actually did some writing at lunch time. It won’t happen often, but it was nice to just sit and plunk away at the keyboard mid-day. I am certainly LOVING the story so far and some of the characters are really coming to life for me. I also had something cool happen. Today was a bit of a bust. I got up early only to realize that I needed to get into work early too so no writing in the morning. Then I ended up working late too and I had promised to help a friend with some WordPress issues so no writing when I got home. Then I went immediately to my Mandarin class so no writing until late in the evening. By late, I mean it was 10PM before I got started. Ah well. As most of you know, I am participating in NaNoWriMo again this year. I’m also trying something a little different. I’m going to do a daily writing blog to talk about my writing schedule, what has worked and what hasn’t.
