Tesseracts Fifteen Review
Tesseracts Fifteen is an experiment of sorts. It marks the first time in the Tesseracts anthology series that all the stories are Young Adult. As an experiment I think it works quite well. The thing about Young Adult stories is, they really cross all genres and, they can be enjoyed by adults as well as younger people. That being the case, this anthology is a fine representation of all things Young Adult There are stories that are clearly science fiction, horror, fantasy, adventure and some that embody tropes from multiple genres. It has been a busy last few months and things are really starting to roll for me. I have a book coming out in August, the anthology Jeffrey Hite and I have been working on now has a publisher (Five Rivers Publishing) and I have a brand new podcast about to debut this month. The new podcast is one of those projects that just feels right. I had the original idea flash through my brain when I heard what two of my online friends (JR Murdock and Scott Roche) were planning this year. Last episode I mentioned a new project I’m working on with Jeffrey Hite. We are co-editing an Anthology I’ve referred to as the Mad Scientist Handbook. Well, the big news is, Five Rivers Publishing has agreed to take the project on. I believe this is going to be their first non-Canadian project. Jeff and I have renamed the book to A Method to the Madness: A Guide to the Super Evil. Submissions are open and you can find more information at madscientistanthology.wordpress.com.
