The next major step in getting Mik Murdoch: The Power Within released has hit. I received the galley for the book last week. What happens next is I go through the book and check for spelling & grammar issues. That means any mistakes are ultimately my fault. 🙂 After that, the book should be ready for printing, Advanced Reader Copies (ARCs) and August release. Exciting stuff! So, a short update but lots going on.

Down But Not Out
I’m developing a theory about my own busy life. Basically, the theory is, as long as I’m running full-out, I won’t have time to get sick…or die…or whatever. If I can do that, I could become technically immortal. Okay…I’m not actually that deluded (or egomanical) but it sure sounds good. Things are moving fast and furious now with Mik Murdoch: The Power Within. My Publisher, Lorina Stephens from Five Rivers Publishing confirmed that all edits are accepted and the book is into layout. The cover is also complete and approved. All this means the book will be available August 1. I am happy to be able to share the cover with you today. I received my second set of edits on Mik Murdoch: The Power Within a couple days ago and I’ve got to say, I’m both amazed and delighted. Amazed that there don’t seem to be any major issues with the current revision of the book and delighted that there don’t seem to be any major issues with the current version of the book. Wait…was I just repeating myself back there? I suppose I was which should only illustrate just how happy I am. Normally, there are an ever-decreasing number of edits for me.
