I Should Have Known Better

There was a time not so long ago when I thought it would be safest to play both sides; have both heroes and villains behind me. So I wrote about Mik Murdoch, Boy Superhero and I edited the combined works of many super villains in A Method to the Madness, A Guide to the Super Evil. Granted, the villain community didn’t give me much choice about the editing job. Do any of you see the fatal flaw in that plan? As you might guess, villains don’t like having the light of justice shone on them, so when Mik Murdoch put a post on this website calling the aforementioned baddies out, they were not thrilled. Get Published Episode 107 – Michael R Fletcher – Lessons of a First-time Author

On today’s show I have Michael R Fletcher. Michael is a writer, rock n’ roller, sound engineer and dad. He has had several short stories published and is about to release his first novel through Five Rivers Publishing. We talk about first time books, writing and what it’s like to be an unknown writer. She has been hearing rumours that the Super-Villain Community was talking about me. That was a shock to me because, a) I’m only a kid and […]

This is a project that we conceived more than a year ago over Twitter. We decided it would be fun to try our hands at creating an anthology and started the process of doing it ourselves, all the while looking for a publisher. We didn’t have to look long before Lorina Stephens and Five Rivers Publishing decided to take on the project with us. It has been both an adventure and a LOT of work to gather stories, edit them, place them into the anthology and now proof the Galley. But we are almost […]
