With a title like ‘Endings’ you might think I’m quitting something, but nothing could be further from the truth. Instead, I’m thinking about writing an ending to my SciFi/Comedy podcast ‘GalaxyBillies’. For those of you who have been following GalaxyBillies, you know that there are only a few episodes left (three, I think). I’ve enjoyed writing and recording the story but, I must confess, I will be glad to have it finished. Why? Certainly not because I don’t like the characters or the story itself. Get Published Episode 38 – Ridan Publishing’s Robin Sullivan
Robin Sullivan of Ridan Publishing talks about how she got into publishing. She also talks about the publishing industry and gives writers a list of does and don’ts. The answer to that question, of course, is no, I haven’t been into space and as much as I would like to lay claim to superhuman abilities, the best I can do is know that I can add sales tax up in my head before cashiers can calculate it on their tills. So how can my experiences […]
Read moreEntering the E-Age
I’ve finally taken the plunge and it has only taken my first two stories being published in e-format to do it. I now have an e-reader. It’s a step I’ve wanted to take for a while; I really wanted an iPad, but finances simply don’t allow it. However, I can’t complain about the e-reader I’ve got (we’ll see how I feel after I’ve had it a few months). There have been several hints that I should get an e-reader. Over the past couple years I’ve received a number of books to review/critique in e-format. The problem with this is most of my reading is done away from my computer. So how do I read them? My iPod touch will act […]
