On today’s show I have Ira Nayman, a Canadian comedy writer who has written both books and screenplays. He was also a writer/performer in a comedy troop in the 80’s. Ira and I talk about writing and comedy and several other things that we found funny at the time. I also provide a review of Ira’s book, Welcome to the Multiverse, Sorry for the Inconvenience. That’s today’s episode. I hope you enjoy it. I’m on to the Next Project, or Am I?
I am now able to say, Mik Murdoch, Boy Superhero, is done. At least, all of the writing , revision and proofing. That, of course, just means I have finished another chapter in the road to publication. There are still many, MANY things to do: Prepare and send out Advanced Reader Copies (ARC’s) for review (Lorina Stephens is working on that as I type, I am sure); Create a book trailer; Get publicity for myself and the book; Book launch; Write the next book in the series. I was able to ask these questions and many more when I talked to Jennifer White who is a screenwriter, tagline writer and novelist. I am also happy to have JRMurdock do another of his Unorthodox Writing Tips. In today’s show he talks about paying attention. He gave me a hearty yes and we exchanged contact information. I am pleased to say that you will hear our discussion today. I knew even before we connected that it would be a great conversation. David is a great writer who has already had a long and successful career. I was pretty confident that we would […]
