Get Published Episode 59 – Balticant – The Value of Conventions

Hello everyone and thank you for joining me today. The weekend of May 21st, 22nd and 23rd is the Memorial Day weekend in the United States and that means Balticon to many podcasters and new media people. For those who could attend, it meant a weekend of fun, friends and fabulous panels. Of course, not everyone can go to Balticon and some of us decided to have an impromptu virtual convention of our own that we called Balticant. Get Published Episode 58 – Scott Roche, Editor & Self-Published Author

Hello, my friends. As you may know I’m self publishing a book in the coming weeks. I’ve heard from some of you looking for more information on self publishing so I’ve made a point to have more guests who have self publishing experience. I made a comment a few weeks ago that Jeff […]

One cheap and easy way is to talk about a writer’s work. If you like it tell people. Encourage them to sample that writer’s wares. Another is to use the donate button whenever available and throw a buck or two in the pot. I have a couple stories out there right now that depend on this model. One is GalaxyBillies (found on podiobooks.com) and the other is Stolen Immortality found at Sorcerous Signals (http://www.sorceroussignals.com/StolenImmortality.html). Yet another great way is to buy the author’s work. In the […]
