Changes

I don’t like to do change for change sake, but occasionally it becomes clear to me that what I am doing currently isn’t working. “What I am doing” could be anything from my writing schedule to the time I get up in the morning for work. There have been a few things that seem to be out of sync lately and I’m not exactly sure why. For example, I can’t seem to get ANY kinds of comments on any of my projects. That includes comments on my Wattpad work, reviews of my books, comments about podcast episodes or even my blog posts. Get Published Episode 122 – Gail Carriger Talks Series Writing

One of the best things about going to conventions for me is getting the chance to talk to people. For example, 3-years ago at Balticon, I was lucky enough to meet and talk to Gail Carriger. The unfortunate part of that was, I met her on the very last day, at lunch, just prior to leaving for home. I Have a Story in a Second Anthology This Month

Writing is often about luck and I know I’m VERY lucky to have stories appearing in two anthologies this month. The first story allowed me to revisit a character I’ve written about before. This time is different. It is a brand-new character in a genre I’ve enjoyed reading but had never written before (I liked the character and enjoyed writing the story enough that I think I will be doing more of the same in book-form later on).
