Where do I begin?
Where do I begin? Those words ran through my mind as I prepared to write my first post in months. It isn’t like I haven’t thought about posting. Honest. But, I haven’t posted. I’ve been working on a variety of things, most not writing related unfortunately. There are the normal family activities, maintenance activities, work and volunteering. Note, I said most were not writing related. Not all. I have a project nearing completion that I am more excited about than any book I can think of. It is very easy to be busy. It is much more difficult to rest. Sounds weird, doesn’t it? It doesn’t even really compute but, for me, it is still truth. I have a full-time job, I volunteer for a couple things regularly, I have my family, I’m taking some classes and, of course, I have my writing. Toss in reading, commuting, and the various other little things that are part of our daily lives and busy becomes the norm. Happy New Year, everyone! I know New Year’s posts typically are about looking forward, making resolutions and generally putting a positive spin on the upcoming year.
