Caught in the Doldrums
I would love to sit here and tell you that I never have a problem writing. No matter how much is going on or how I’m feeling I can still crank out the words. I would love to tell you that, but I would be fibbing. Truth be told, there are times I don’t feel like writing. There are even times when I simply cannot force myself to write. I made a decision the other day. That decision was to self-publish one of my novels. The story, a YA mystery/adventure has already been sent out to a few publishers and not picked up. The ones who have seen it all said it was well-written but took a pass on it. I’m OK with it because I believe it will find an audience. So why am I going in that direction? A lot of reasons actually. The first is to help support my upcoming book release.
