Get Published Episode 101 – Krista D. Ball Has Created a Food Sourcebook

I met the publishers from Tyche Books last Fall at “When Words Collide”. They talked about a new book they had coming out called “What Kings Ate and Wizards Drank”. The non-fiction book was going to talk about food throughout the ages with an eye to helping Fantasy and other Speculative Fiction writers add realism to their work. They were very excited about the book and, I must confess, I was looking forward to reading the final product. You will hear my review of the book today. ASIN: B009ZX8W3K I also got the opportunity to interview the book’s author, Krista D Ball. You know, little things like “putting your books up on the site would never, ever result in a sale to a publisher”. As you might […]

Get Published, Episode 3 – Don’t Fail to Plan (2nd try)

Howdy Folks.  Episode 3 is here a last.  If you have already seen it, have I got a story for you.  Well maybe not a GREAT story, but a story. After posting this episode of the podcast I noticed that it wasn’t showing up in iTunes.  I checked the developer website and lo and behold, a new version existed to fix my problem.  Trouble was, it didn’t fix anything.  It caused my podcast to stop working entirely.  Not quite what I had in mind. I have reverted back to a previous version and I am hoping it shows up in iTunes this time around.  No guarantees though, so I will be watching it. This time around I wanted to talk […]
