90 episodes and still going. When I started planning Get Published almost four years ago, I never thought it would last this long. But it has and I am very proud of the show and all the wonderful people I have the chance to talk to as part of it. Get Published Episode 80 – Tad Williams has Options
Happy April Fools Day to those of you listening to this episode on the 1st. To the rest of you, I hope you had a fun April 1st. There has been a lot going on around here lately. I managed to finish the final set of revisions on my upcoming YA Novel, Mik Murdoch, Boy Superhero. Next is layout and sending out Advanced Reader Copies for review. This is pins and needles time for me. I really hope people like it and give me lots of good reviews! I am very happy to welcome Nathan Lowell to Get Published. Nathan has landed a publishing contract for the first of his Share novels and came on the show to discuss his writing journey with me. This is a great interview and I’m sure you’ll get a lot out of it. I also have two writing questions: one from DanDantheArtMan and one from Nomad Scry. And don’t forget to visit Paulette Jaxton at http://empresssword.com. Paulette purchased a sponsorship as part of the Boom Effect auction. Even if she hadn’t I would recommend her podcast. It is well worth listening to. Thanks for listening. -Michell Show Notes 00:00 — Opening – Get Published Episode 29 – Nathan Lowell’s Journey to Publication Everything […]

I’ve also read/heard that everyone sees characters differently. Too much description of what a character looks like could pull the reader out of the story. Again, I like to err on the side of too little. Maybe that’s because […]
