There were always books in my house.  My parents are both voracious readers, and they imparted that love of words and stories on to their children.  I can remember, when I was still very young, listening to my mother read us The Jungle Book and Bambi (the original novels, not the Disney versions), as well as Alice in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass, among others.  The idea of being able to write and influence the world, even after death, was an amazing idea to me.  The fact that I could tell a story and, hundreds of years in the future, someone else could read that same story was, to me, the true proof of immortality. Decisions

As you may know, I have a book under contract with Five Rivers Publishing. That particular book is scheduled for release next year. I also have several other books written that I haven’t quite decided what to do with yet. For example, my very first novel, a traditional sword and sorcery fantasy hasn’t had a great deal of success finding a publisher. The people who have read it liked it, but it hasn’t found a home yet. I’m considering a few options. The first is to podcast it as is. The second is to rewrite it and podcast it. The third is to self-publish as is and the forth… well, that’s the thing.
