How are you all surviving these days? I know I have good days and I have bad. I’ve had to reduce my time on Twitter because there is so much negativity and ridiculousness going on every day. It feels like people are looking for reasons to be offended and/or offensive. That is unfortunate because, I’m a pretty social person. I now work from home (which I am still adjusting to a year in) and I’m lucky to be doing so. But since I’m now alone most of the day, social media was a way of seeing other people safely. Dalhousie Night Market
The holiday market season is on and I will be attending my first one (as a vendor) for the year this coming weekend (Friday November 22 – Saturday November 23). I will be bringing all of my books (with the sole exception of my newest – Jack Kane & the Kaiser – which doesn’t release until later this month), my Scout/zombie badges and, of course, my wit and charm (such as they are). Newsletter At long last, I have a newsletter. I know that may not sound Earthshaking or momentous, but it marks a new chapter in my writing career. The name of the chapter? Self-promotion. Believe it or not, I really haven’t done much for self-promotion in the past. Yes, I have a Facebook account and a Twitter feed. I also have this website. Those are all somewhat passive mediums.
