Dull Roar

One of the challenges I am currently facing has nothing to do with too much work. In fact, it is the complete opposite. I have been going full-out with revisions and editing for the past several months, not to mention putting work out on Wattpad. Now that I have met a revision deadline, I’m suddenly without anything pressing. That may not sound like a bad thing, and in fact, it isn’t, but I’m feeling a little lost. I have plenty of things to work on, but nothing immediate. That is the problem. Rather than jumping into one of my other projects, I’m taking a break. Again, not a bad thing. I have read a lot of writing advice that says you should write in your own unique ‘voice’. But, what the heck IS your own voice? How do you find it and how do you recognize it when you see it?
