I actually started writing this post several days ago. Except, at that time, I was writing it more as a rant than anything that might be useful. This weekend marks the third When Words Collide (A Festival for Readers and Writers). For those of you who haven’t had the opportunity to attend, it is one of my favorite conventions. It started out fantastic and has only gotten better. I approach these types of events with several goals in mind: meet and network with people – this is a wonderful opportunity to meet my readers and get to know other writers, editors, publishers and marketers in a friendly environment.
