I’ve been working towards publication for a long time now. More than ten years, truth-be-told. Granted, I have had some short stories published, but I’m talking books now. Truthfully, there have been times when I wondered if I would ever be successful. That was mostly at the beginning, but there have been bumps in the road the past four or five years. I am very excited to announce that “Get Published” has been shortlisted for a Parsec award. For those of you who don’t know, the Parsecs are awards for Speculative Fiction podcasts. That includes podcasts (like “Get Published”) that talk about the creation of speculative fiction. “Get Published” is up against some great competitors and there was a HUGE group this year; over 400 entries.
