I am learning never to expect things to go the way I plan. I was going to have my blog post up yesterday, but lo and behold, my hot water tank died yesterday, flooding my basement. That meant my attentions were redirected to replacing said tank and drying out basement. I’m sure you have all had your best laid plans fail because of events out of your control. Book Review: Dreadnaught (The Lost Fleet: Beyond the Frontier, #1)

Essentially, the purpose of the Signing Survival Kit (SSK) is to give the author the best flexibility and preparedness for any possible signing opportunity. It should be constructed in such a way that it is easy to carry, and store. So, here is the SSK in its […]

Covers are a very important part of any book. A good cover can intrigue and encourage readers to try a book they might not otherwise look at and a bad one might just cause that same reader to pass it by. In today’s show, I talk to Cover Designer, writer, voice artist and podcaster, Starla Huchton about covers and what she thinks are important considerations. We also talk about how taking a chance in a writing contest has given valuable exposure to her writing. I also talk about something that I hadn’t really thought about before and that is an author’s signing survival kit. That’s today’s episode. I hope you enjoy it.
