Day 1 Win

In my last post, I talked about how I made a last minute decision to do NaNoWriMo this year. I was determined to come out swinging and have a Day 1 Win. As you might imagine, I didn’t do a lot of planning prior to working on my NaNo story. That’s okay though because, what I’m trying to do is finish my fifth Mik Murdoch novel. I started this book more than a year ago and haven’t really gotten a good momentum going on the story. NaNo 2017 – Day 1 Results

I thought it might be helpful to talk a little about my NaNoWriMo journey. To that end, I will be posting my daily totals, not to brag but to show how things are going and maybe motivate you (and me) to bigger things. Challenges for the Day Work. Definitely. It gets in the way of my writing progress while, at the same time, ensures I will be able to pay my mortgage and other bills for the month. Double-edged sword. Also, I was tired.
