The end of the year always feels like a deadline of sorts. I had a lot of plans and goals (both work and personal) set at the beginning of the year and now, I’m trying my very best to ensure that I’ve achieved them all.
There are always a few things left hanging out there to be finished but this year I feel like I’ve had a good year. I didn’t get everything I’d planned finished, but I did get a lot of them. I also noticed that my writing seems to be gaining some momentum, which is also a very good thing.
In fact, I am moving my own schedule ahead a bit to try and get even more momentum going. I won’t say too much about that, but I am already planning several things for next year. Hopefully many of those plans will bear fruit. 🙂
My only real regret is I didn’t have time to write a Christmas story. This year I was seriously thinking about writing a Champ McKay story. For those of you who don’t know, Champ McKay is a serial story I am writing on Wattpad. It chronicles the adventures of an 1890’s Texas Ranger who accidentally hitches a ride into space.
The story and character are a lot of fun and I wish I had more time to write new episodes. That is part of my 2015 plan.
How about you? How did your 2014 go? Did you achieve everything/most/some/none of your goals? I’d love to hear from you and I will put up a new survey for you to answer if you don’t feel like emailing me. 🙂
Have a great one!
My year was ‘meh’. It should have been stellar. I’m hoping 2015 will see a novel (or two) out of me.
Sorry to hear it was Meh. I’m getting the feeling that I may need to add you to my “Nag List” (nag list is copyrighted and may or may not actually exist). 😉
